Hi! I'm Shana McKay and my teaching career started in 2004 after a short time in the environmental sciences field. I'm certified to teach math grades 1-12, biology grades 8-12 and students with moderate disabilities, and have taught algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, consumer math, 8th grade math and biology in the general education and special education setting. I'm currently working as an inclusion algebra 2 teacher.

 

My bachelor's degree is in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and I have a master's degree in Mathematics for Teaching from Harvard Extension School. You can read more about my background here and reach me anytime at shana@scaffoldedmath.com.
