GCF, LCM and Prime Factors Math Pennant Activity
Students find greatest common factor, least common multiple and prime factorize in this activity that doubles as classroom décor.
Included inside:
- 10 pennants - find the GCF of 2 composite numbers less than 100
- 10 pennants - find the LCM of 2 composite numbers less than 12
- 10 pennants - prime factorize one composite number

To make is easier to differentiate, a couple of the pennants go above the 100 and 12, but most stick to that standard.
Each group of students can be given a set of pennants, scissors and either glue, tape or a stapler. Students can be in charge of cutting out the pennants. Groups can compete to see which group can complete the most pennants or your entire class can add pennants to one string as they complete each one. You may also choose to have your students color their pennants to add to your classroom décor.
