Mean, Median, Mode and Range Data Math Pennant Activity

Students find mean, median, mode and range given either 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 single-digit and double-digit numbers of data. Some answers require rounding (answer key is to the nearest hundredth). Once a pennant is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know how to find mean, median, mode and range!"

Included are 30 pennants, an optional student answer sheet and an answer key. Also includes 2 blank pennants to write in your own string of numbers.

Each group of students can be given a set of pennants, crayons, scissors and either glue, tape or a stapler. Students can be in charge of cutting out the pennants. Groups can compete to see which group can complete the most pennants or your entire class can add pennants to one string as they complete each one.
