An engaging math escape room for rounding decimals. Students must unlock 5 locks by rounding decimals to the nearest whole, ten, tenth, hundredth, cent, and thousandth. Questions are grouped 4 per puzzle, resulting in five 4-letter codes that will unlock all 5 locks.
Puzzle 2: round decimal to nearest tenth or hundredth
Puzzle 3: add decimals then round to nearest whole or ten
Puzzle 4: round decimal to nearest cent or dollar
Puzzle 5: round decimal to nearest hundredth or thousandth
The entire activity is housed in one GOOGLE Form. There are no links to outside websites. The 4-letter codes are set with answer validation so that students cannot move to the next puzzle until they enter the correct code. Includes answer key.
