Simple Interest Escape Room

An engaging financial literacy escape room activity for reviewing simple interest. Students must unlock 5 locks by answering 20 simple interest questions presented in graphs, equations and word problems. Questions are grouped 4 per puzzle, resulting in five 4-letter codes that will unlock all 5 locks. All digital math escape rooms now include a self-checking digital version and a printable PDF version.

Questions include:

Identify the parts of the simple interest formula

Find the amount of interest accrued after x years

Find an account's value after x years

Find the number of years until an account has accrued x dollars.

The entire activity is housed in one GOOGLE Form. There are no links to outside websites. The 4-letter codes are set with answer validation so that students cannot move to the next puzzle until they enter the correct code. Includes answer key.
