Coordinate Plane All 4 Quadrants Digital Math Escape Room
An engaging math escape room to review plotting coordinate pairs in the 4 quadrants. Students must unlock 5 locks through identifying 20 points on the the coordinate plane.
This was an absolute hit!! It was challenging but the students really got into 'unlocking' each slide. They especially appreciated that they would not get to leave until all the locks were undone and they would come out of it with a 100%. I will definitely be buying bundles. — Ashley D.
Questions are grouped 4 per puzzle, resulting in five 4-letter codes that will unlock all 5 locks. To unlock each lock, students are shown 4 coordinate points to identify.
The entire activity is housed in one GOOGLE Form. There are no links to outside websites. The 4-letter codes are set with answer validation so that students cannot move to the next puzzle until they enter the correct code. Includes answer key.

A printable PDF version has also been added to the file. Students can work in groups, each group starting at a different puzzle. Once done, students check the NEXT STEP box for which puzzle to visit next.

I used this with my students who didn't have skills graphing. They needed to be able to have those skills before we did our unit on Transformations and Dilations.
My students loved the challenge of unlocking all five locks while reviewing all four quadrants! The escape room kept them engaged, and the step-by-step puzzles made practicing coordinate points fun and interactive. Great for review or independent practice.
I used it toward the end of the school year, and it was excellent; it kept my students engaged while they were reviewing learned concepts.
