Domain and Range Finder Tools
Domain and Range Finder Tools
Do your algebra students struggle with finding domain and range of graphs? These simple domain and range finder manipulatives guide students where to look when analyzing graphs for domain and range.
I absolutely love this tool! It has made it so easy for my students to learn how to read a graph. I leave them at the front of my room and they can grab one when they need it! - Karen S
UPDATE: A 3rd tool for finding increasing/decreasing intervals of graphs has been added to the file.
There are simple directions written on the tools to help students independently understand the process of successfully finding domain and range of graphs. The directions guide students to slide the tools along the graphs, left to right for domain and bottom to top for range, stopping when the tool first meets the graph and then when the tool leaves the graph.
The domain and range practice cards are free from my blog and linked inside.
The domain and range finder tools are also on TPT, if you prefer shopping there.

These helped my algebra students so much! The directions on each finder were so helpful...especially when the graph has arrows and not endpoints.
I blew one up and used it at the board to demonstrate domain and range. Then gave each student one. I laminated a classroom set for students to use when needed. Great way to scaffold learning domain and range.
I loved this tool! It helped my Algebra 1 students to find the correct domain and range from a graph. Great idea! Also, I loved how the steps were written out for students to follow.
Best tool I have purchased for students thus far.
Thank you so much! This is a great resource to use.
