Multiplication Fall Math Pennant Activity for Halloween (2x2 digit)
Multiplication Fall Math Pennant Activity for Halloween (2x2 digit)
Students multiply 2-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers in this math activity that doubles as spooky Halloween classroom décor! Each pennant is in the shape of a ghost. The multiplication problems on each pennant vary in difficulty allowing you to easily differentiate.
Once a pennant is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know how to multiply!"
Included are 30 ghost pennants with 2x2-digit multiplication problems, 2 additional "blank" ghost pennants to write your own multiplication problems, an optional student answer sheet and an answer key.
Each group of students can be given a set of pennants, scissors and either glue, tape or a stapler. Students can be in charge of cutting out the pennants. Groups can compete to see which group can complete the most pennants or your entire class can add pennants to one string as they complete each one. You may also choose to have your students color their pennants to add to your classroom décor.
This math pennant activity is also on TPT, if you prefer shopping there.

This is a great resource. Easy to use and engaging. My kids enjoyed it!
Perfect practice for my sped kids who are not thrilled with math!
My students loved decorating our classroom with these little math ghosts. They forgot they were practicing a new skill. They just kept asking for another to complete to hang up!
Perfect math activity for our classroom! Love using this during October.
Loving using this as decor for the classroom as spooky season approaches, and especially as a way to display a variety of student multiplication strategies. They are excited to show their thinking as part of this community display.
