Multiplying and Dividing Multi-Digit Numbers Digital Math Escape Room

An engaging math escape room for multiplying and dividing multi-digit numbers. Students must unlock 5 locks by either multiplying (3 puzzles) or dividing (2 puzzles). None of the division problems give remainders. Questions are grouped 4 per puzzle, resulting in five 4-letter codes that will unlock all 5 locks. 

You want to talk about an engaging activity for 5th graders!!! THIS IS IT!!! I put them into teams and placed the puzzles around the room. When they got the codes correct, they earned a cupcake!!!! This was a great way to make math fun again!!! — Stephanie E.

Problems include:

• multiply 3 by 1 digit.
• multiply 4 by 1 digit,
• multiply 2 by 2 digit,
• divide 3 by 1 digit,
• divide 4 by 1 digit.

The entire activity is housed in one GOOGLE Form. There are no links to outside websites. The 4-letter codes are set with answer validation so that students cannot move to the next puzzle until they enter the correct code. Includes answer key.
