Solving 2-Step Inequalities Digital Math Escape Room
Solving 2-Step Inequalities Digital Math Escape Room
An engaging algebra escape room game for solving 2-step linear inequalities in one variable. Students must unlock 5 locks by solving 20 inequalities. Questions are grouped 4 per puzzle, resulting in five 4-letter codes that will unlock all 5 locks. In puzzles 2 and 4, answers are given as graphs. Some inequalities require dividing by negatives to solve.
The entire activity is housed in one GOOGLE Form. There are no links to outside websites. The 4-letter codes are set with answer validation so that students cannot move to the next puzzle until they enter the correct code. This is a digital-only activity. Includes answer key.
To add the digital escape room to your Google Drive: please open the PDF and click the button on page 3.
A printable PDF version has also been added to the file. Students can work in groups, each group starting at a different puzzle. Once done, students check the NEXT STEP box for which puzzle to visit next.

Well thought out resource and useful in my classroom. Thank you!
The only "prep" I had to do was copy it to my Google Drive and assign it on Google Classroom. Super easy directions to guide you through downloading it onto your account. The activity itself was super engaging and kids loved it!
